Sales Manager
Gay Ad Network seeks a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our sales team. As Sales Manager, you will sell our portfolio of interactive products including online advertising and sponsorships across hundreds of gay and lesbian websites, mobile ads, video ads and behavioral targeted ads across our extended network. The Sales Manager will identify prospective accounts that seek an affluent and influential gay demographic. Candidate will be a seasoned sales person who will execute an aggressive growth plan to grow the overall digital business with a strong focus on national and regional accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in working with digital agencies and national advertisers. This position reports directly to the Vice President Advertising Sales.
Responsibilities
- Grow digital revenues by building new client base and develop new business opportunities including direct to client and digital agencies
- Leverage Gay Ad Network's product portfolio in developing marketing solutions to meet clients business objectives
- Proactively manage and ensure success at all stages of the sales cycle, including prospecting, development, proposal, closing business, and servicing accounts
Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience online advertising sales
- Strong relationships with digital agencies and key client accounts
- Demonstrable track record of success selling online advertising
- An entrepreneurial and creative approach to business
- Ability to identify new prospects through interactive agencies
- Outbound phone and email prospecting skills is required
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Must have strong understanding of marketing dynamics including the gay demographic and behavioral targeting
Marketing Manager
Gay Ad Network seeks a highly motivated and dynamic individual to support our sales team. As Marketing Manager, you support our sales and marketing initiatives. This position will report to the President.
Responsibilities
- Lead generation and qualification
- Publisher administration, including site recruitment and ongoing support
- Manage social networking to support corporate branding to drive sales opportunities
- Support PR efforts with outreach to select press contacts
- Create sales support materials
- Monthly sales reporting
Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience is sales support and marketing
- Demonstrable track record of supporting sales teams
- An entrepreneurial and creative approach to business
- Ability to identify sales prospects
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
- Social networking expertise
- Excellent communication, writing, and marketing skills
